Airbus Group reported EUR 17.8 billion in third-quarter sales, up 14% from 2024. The company delivered 507 jets through September, leaving one-third to be built in the final quarter. Commercial planes make up 70% of sales, with mid-teen increases in commercial jet, defense, and helicopter businesses. Airbus’s progress in increasing commercial jet output is key to its fortunes. Engine supply chain delays from CFM and Pratt & Whitney remain a constraint. Airbus plans to build more jets in 2025, with signs of recovery in the engine supply chain. In previous years, fourth-quarter jet deliveries represented over one-third of the annual total. Morningstar has raised its fair value estimate for Airbus Group.
