Alignment Health Plan has expanded access to bilingual primary care for its Arizona members in Pima and Maricopa counties through a new agreement with Suvida Healthcare as of Oct. 1. This partnership aims to create health equity for Spanish-speaking members in Arizona, where nearly one-third of the population identifies as Hispanic. Suvida Healthcare offers holistic, bilingual care to address the physical, behavioral, social, and cultural aspects of health. This collaboration will help reduce obstacles to senior health, particularly for Hispanic seniors affected by cultural and language barriers. Alignment members in select plans can now access Suvida’s primary care providers and neighborhood centers in Phoenix and Tucson. Additionally, Alignment’s Arizona HMO contract has earned a 4-star rating from CMS for 2026, and Medicare’s annual enrollment period runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
