Amazon Web Services, Inc. plans to invest $5 billion in South Korea by 2031 to build AI data centres, as announced by CEO Matt Garman during a meeting with President Lee Jae Myung. Amazon is one of seven global firms committing a total of $9 billion in investments for the next five years.
