Ayala Corporation is exiting its Honda dealership business in the Philippines after three decades. The move is part of a shift towards electric vehicles, with ACMobility transferring its Honda dealerships to new principals by the end of 2025. The company also represents BYD, the leading BEV brand in Southeast Asia.
In the first half of 2025, BYD delivered 6,700 vehicles in the Philippines, a significant increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, Honda saw a modest sales increase of just under 4% to 8,220 units during the same period. Ayala Corporation’s CEO highlighted the company’s focus on sustainable mobility and electrification.
