Goldman Sachs saw sales of $15.18 billion and earnings of $12.25 per share, surpassing expectations. AUM for BlackRock hit $13.5 trillion, while Goldman Sachs reached $3.45 trillion.
Goldman Sachs trades at 16X forward earnings, a discount to S&P 500’s 25X. BlackRock trades at 24X. GS also trades near 2X forward sales, with BLK at 8X. Goldman Sachs offers a dividend yield of 2.03%, higher than BlackRock’s 1.8%.
Despite BlackRock’s advantage in AUM, Goldman Sachs outperforms in many metrics. Both stocks hold a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Goldman Sachs may see a buy rating soon due to strong Q3 EPS beat. Global semiconductor manufacturing is projected to grow from $452 billion in 2021 to $971 billion by 2028, making it an attractive investment.
