Chevron Corporation (CVX) is set to announce its third-quarter results, with analysts expecting a non-GAAP EPS of $1.66, down 33.9% from the year-ago quarter. For fiscal 2025, an EPS of $7.18 is expected, followed by a 10.5% growth in fiscal 2026 to $7.93 per share.

CVX stock prices have gained nearly 4% over the past 52 weeks, outpacing the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund’s dip but underperforming the S&P 500 Index’s gains during the same period.

After a mixed Q2 with strong production but lower revenue, Chevron’s stock prices observed a marginal dip. Analysts maintain a consensus “Moderate Buy” rating with a mean price target of $170.31.
