Co-Diagnostics (Co-Dx) partners with Arabian Eagle to form CoMira Diagnostics, a joint venture focusing on PCR platform distribution in Saudi Arabia and 18 other MENA nations. The JV aims to obtain regulatory approval from SFDA and expand access to cutting-edge PCR technology in the region.

Arabian Eagle will manage regulatory approvals and establish a manufacturing facility for CoMira Diagnostics, leveraging its experience in distributing Co-Dx’s Logix Smart tests in the Middle East. Co-Dx will grant the JV an exclusive license to utilize and market its technologies, including the upcoming PCR platform.

CoMira plans to conduct clinical trials for various tests, including tuberculosis and multiplex tests for Covid-19, influenza, RSV, and HPV, by the end of the year. The Co-Dx PCR platform, which includes PCR Pro, PCR Home, and associated tests, is pending clearance from the FDA and other regulatory bodies before sale.

Co-Diagnostics CEO Dwight Egan expresses excitement over the partnership with Arabian Eagle and the opportunity to introduce innovative healthcare solutions to the Middle East. The JV aims to address the growing demand for high-quality PCR diagnostics in the region and bridge the gap in accessibility to advanced medical technologies.
