Cotton futures are up 60 to 65 points, trading higher on Wednesday. Crude oil futures also see an increase of 44 cents/barrel to $60.59, while the US dollar index rises to $98.510. There’s optimism surrounding the Trump/Xi meeting in South Korea.
The recent online auction from The Seam saw 3,401 bales sold at an average price of 61.63 cents/lb. The Cotlook A Index rose by 35 points to 75.95 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks increased by 500 bales on October 28, reaching 18,052 bales.
