Cullinan Therapeutics presented new preclinical data for CLN-978, a CD19xCD3 bispecific T cell engager, at the American College of Rheumatology Convergence 2025. The data showed rapid and deep B cell depletion in autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s disease, and lupus. In nonhuman primates, CLN-978 achieved deep and sustained B cell depletion in blood and tissues. In a murine model of lupus, CLN-978 reduced circulating B cells and disease markers in the kidney. The company is advancing global clinical trials for CLN-978 in multiple autoimmune diseases to address significant unmet needs.
