Apple stock surged 2.4% in early trading, leading the Dow Jones Industrial Average components. Year to date, Apple has gained 3.2%. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola dipped 0.7%, but is up 9.2% year to date. Visa fell 0.5% and Boeing rose 2.0% on the day.
