Stocks are expected to continue trading in the green on Monday, despite the government shutdown. Dow Jones futures rose 0.2% and S&P 500 contracts were up 0.3%, both hitting record highs on Friday. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.6%. The 10-year U.S. Treasury note yield increased by 4 basis points to 4.16%.
The U.S. Dollar gained 0.4% against a weighted basket of peers, while gold futures surged 1.2% to reach a record $3,955 per ounce.
