The stock market ended October on a high note with the major indexes posting their best performance in years. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 41 points, the S&P 500 gained 0.3%, and the Nasdaq Composite rallied 0.6%. Both the S&P and Dow had their best Octobers since 2022, while the Nasdaq saw its best October since 2021.
