Ethereum introduces Pico Prism, a new technology that can achieve 10,000 transactions per second. Real-time proving using consumer-grade hardware like Nvidia GPUs has been achieved, marking a major breakthrough in scaling Ethereum by 100x. Validators will soon switch to verifying ZK-proofs, aiming to hit 10,000 TPS by April 2029.
Brevis has a roadmap to achieve 99% real-time proving with fewer than 16 RTX 5090 GPUs. This breakthrough simplifies lightweight validation and breaks the costly re-execution model. The Fusaka upgrade in December will enable more parallel proving and draw less than 10kW total power. Ethereum’s future is moving towards massive scalability without compromising decentralization or security.
