Polish contract packer FILLSY has opened a manufacturing facility in Żyrardów, Poland, in collaboration with Meadow. The plant will produce Meadow’s aluminium pre-fill solution, the MEADOW KAPSUL, with an investment of €4m ($4.6m) by 2027. FILLSY plans to invest another €10m to expand the facility and aims to produce 100 million units per year by 2027.
The facility will be the first in Europe to industrialize MEADOW KAPSUL technology at scale, with a projected capacity of 10 million units annually by 2025. FILLSY aims to cater to the European market with the latest industrial machinery and a showroom for partners and customers to explore the technology’s applications.
The new plant in Poland will address the rising demand for packaging solutions compliant with the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. Meadow CEO Victor Ljungberg expressed excitement for the partnership, highlighting the growing market demand for their solutions. FILLSY co-founder Paweł Siwirski emphasized the strategic location of the factory in Europe, supporting sustainable packaging initiatives in the region.
