Yukon Metals Corp. announces initial results from the 2025 drill program at its Birch Copper-Gold Project, showcasing positive findings from the first drill hole, BR25-001, and promising surface samples 2 kilometers south of the drilling area.

Initial results from the drill program revealed copper mineralization over lengths of up to 21.2 meters, with multiple intervals exceeding 3.1% copper equivalent. Additionally, Hole 3 encountered near-surface mineralization and a 46-meter thick interval of intensely skarn altered rock, showing positive signs of a copper-gold skarn system.

The Birch project, located 65 kilometers northeast of Burwash Landing, consisted of 1,685m of HQ diamond drill core in six holes off four pads. Highlights from Hole BR25-001 included notable copper and gold bearing skarn horizons in schist units adjacent to intrusive contacts.

Prospecting 2 kilometers south of the drill pad returned up to 16g/t Au, 1,825 g/t Ag, and 0.43% Cu in surface rock samples, indicating a connection to a large molybdenum soil geochemical anomaly. The diverse mineral associations in the area suggest a broad hydrothermal footprint with multiple mineralizing pulses.
