British retail giant Frasers Group has acquired a majority stake in US luxury retailer The Webster, known for its curated selection of over 100 luxury brands. The Webster has seen 10% revenue growth and expanded to 13 stores across North America. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, but founder and CEO Laure Hériard Dubreuil will retain a portion of shares and continue managing operations. Frasers Group aims to integrate The Webster into its luxury division, Flannels, as part of its elevation strategy to strengthen its luxury segment. The partnership will focus on digital, operational, and strategic development.
