Google is updating its “Work from Anywhere” policy, limiting remote work outside primary offices to four weeks per year. Even one WFA day counts as a full week. Hybrid schedule remains unchanged, allowing two days of home work per week. Violations may lead to disciplinary action or termination.

Employees can’t use WFA in different states or countries. Microsoft and Amazon have similar in-office requirements. Google offers voluntary buyouts and warns remote workers of role risks. WFA was meant for pandemic support, not as a hybrid work substitute. Stock closed at $245.46, down 0.68%, and after hours at $245.56, up 0.04%.
