Levi Strauss reported a significant increase in profit for the third quarter, with bottom line totaling $218.1 million or $0.55 per share, compared to $20.7 million or $0.05 per share last year. Excluding items, adjusted earnings were $135.7 million or $0.34 per share. Revenue for the period also rose 6.9% to $1.54 billion from $1.44 billion last year. Full year EPS guidance is projected to be between $1.27 to $1.32. Levi Strauss’ strong financial performance reflects growth and stability in the market.
