Meta Platforms Inc. (META) will personalize content and ads based on interactions with its AI chatbot. Users will be notified of this update on October 7 and it goes into effect on December 16. Recommended posts or ads may reflect topics discussed with the chatbot, but users can adjust preferences at any time. Meta will not use sensitive topics for ad targeting.
