MicroStrategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, is slowing its BTC acquisitions, with purchases dropping to 200 BTC per week from tens of thousands. The company’s equity issuance premium has plunged, making new stock offerings less efficient for buying Bitcoin. Despite this, CEO Michael Saylor hints at a potential large-scale purchase. The company has spent $19.5 billion on Bitcoin in 2025 alone, totaling 640,418 BTC, around 3.2% of all Bitcoin in circulation. Strategy remains a major player in the institutional accumulation of Bitcoin, even with reduced buying frequency.
