Mustang Energy Corp. has entered into an arrangement agreement with its subsidiary, Allied Strategic Resource Corp., to transfer properties in Saskatchewan, Canada, and spin out securities to shareholders. The Arrangement will result in Allied becoming a separate reporting issuer and allow it to focus on developing the Ford Lake Property. Mustang will retain interests in other projects, with a strategic emphasis on the Yellowstone property. The Arrangement is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to approvals. Allied intends to seek a listing on the CSE and raise funds for exploration activities through offerings.
The Ford Lake Property, strategically located in the Eastern Athabasca Basin, covers 7,431 hectares and is in close proximity to significant uranium deposits. The Roughrider South and Cigar Lake East projects are also in the Athabasca Basin, near existing mines. The Arrangement will involve a share capital reorganization, securities exchange, and shareholder approval. Mustang shareholders will receive Allied Shares, providing them with ownership in both companies. The Arrangement is expected to unlock additional value for shareholders by allowing properties to be valued independently.
