Perpetua Resources starts early construction at the Stibnite gold project in Idaho after securing $139m in financial assurance and USFS approval. The project, with 4.8 million ounces of gold reserves, aims to create over 950 direct jobs and remediate environmental damage while producing 450,000oz of gold annually. Future financing includes $2bn debt funding.
