BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics, Inc. announced promising preclinical data on BBO-10203, showing it blocks RAS-mediated activation of PI3Kα without affecting glucose metabolism. The drug demonstrated strong anti-tumor activity in KRAS-mutant models both alone and in combination with other inhibitors. The Phase 1 BREAKER-101 trial is currently evaluating BBO-10203 in patients with specific types of breast cancer and KRAS mutant colorectal or lung cancer, with initial clinical data expected in the first half of 2026. The drug is designed to break the protein interaction between RAS and PI3Kα, offering a new approach in cancer treatment.
