Stellantis plans to invest $13bn over four years in the US, the largest in its 100-year history. This investment will result in the launch of five new vehicles, creation of over 5,000 jobs, and a 50% increase in annual vehicle output. Plans include reopening the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois and moving truck assembly to Ohio.

Ohio will see a nearly $400m package to move assembly of a new midsize truck to the Toledo Assembly Complex. Stellantis also plans further investments in operations of Toledo and Michigan, including retooling the Warren Truck Assembly Plant to build a new electric vehicle and large SUV.

Stellantis will invest over $100m in Indiana to produce a new four-cylinder engine, with manufacturing starting in 2026. The company’s US operations include 34 facilities across 14 states. Earlier this month, Stellantis reported a rise in consolidated shipment estimates for the quarter ending 30 September 2025, driven by strong North America sales.
