Stocks continued to rise on Friday despite the government shutdown, with futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.2%. S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures also climbed 0.3% each after record highs the previous session. The yield on the 10-year note rose to 4.10%, gold futures increased to $3,882 an ounce, and the dollar remained flat.
