General Motors (GM) will report Q3 earnings, expected to be $45.16 billion in revenue and $2.27 adjusted EPS. Q3 sales were up 8% to 710,347 vehicles, with gas-powered vehicles leading the way. GM also saw a surge in EV sales ahead of the tax credit expiration. However, GM is facing a $1.6 billion charge related to EV plans and tariff cost exposure. To combat tariffs, GM committed $4 billion to expand US manufacturing capabilities. The impact of tariffs is affecting other US manufacturers and is projected to cost automakers over $10 billion by the end of this month.
