Luxury EV maker Tesla is recalling 12,963 vehicles in the U.S. due to a potential battery connection issue, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects certain 2025 Model 3 sedans and 2026 Model Y SUVs with faulty battery pack contactors. No warning is given before the loss of propulsion, but a visual alert will prompt drivers to pull over safely. Tesla will replace the affected parts for free.
