A new pair of 2X ETFs, Direxion Daily Technology Top 5 Bull 2X ETF (TTXU) and Direxion Daily Technology Top 5 Bear 2X ETF (TTXD), have been introduced to focus on the top five tech stocks. Concentration of holdings is crucial in the tech sector, where the top five stocks make up 48% of the S&P 500 Technology Sector SPDR (XLK). The ETFs seek to deliver 200% of the performance of the S&P 500 Information Technology (Sector) Top 5 Equal Capped Index. TTXU includes Apple, Broadcom, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Oracle in its top holdings, offering a new layer to the trading toolkit.
These ETFs are designed for short-term use and carry risks due to daily reset features. TTXU aims to capitalize on the price gains of the top five tech stocks, while TTXD allows traders to bet against these giant stocks. The ETFs provide leverage for traders targeting industry leaders and are part of Direxion’s new “Titans” series. TTXU rebalances periodically and holds assets via swap contracts, offering a unique approach to ETF management.
