In afternoon trading, financial stocks are the worst performers, with a 1.9% loss. Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. (MMC) and Brown & Brown Inc (BRO) are down 8.1% and 6.3%, respectively. The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) is down 2.1% and up 8.88% year-to-date. In the Energy sector, Expand Energy Corp (EXE) and Halliburton Company (HAL) are down 4.2% and 3.2%. The Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) is down 1.3% and up 1.99% year-to-date. Two sectors are up, while seven are down in the S&P 500 components.
