Visa reported a 2% increase in GAAP net income, reaching $20.1bn for FY25. Earnings per share grew by 5% to $10.20, with net revenue at $40bn, up 11% from the previous year. Processed transactions hit 257.5 billion, service revenue rose to $17.5bn, and other revenues increased by 27%.
For Q4 of FY25, Visa saw a 4% decrease in net income at $5.1bn. Net revenue rose 12% to $10.7bn, supported by growth in payments volume and cross-border activity. Processed transactions reached 67.7 billion, with the company repurchasing 14 million shares of class A common stock at an average price of $349.77 per share.
Visa’s CEO, Ryan McInerney, highlighted strong performance in Q4 and FY25, with net revenue hitting $40bn for the year. The company continues to invest in technological innovations to lead the transformation in the payments ecosystem. Visa also unveiled plans for a stablecoin prefunding pilot and introduced the Trusted Agent Protocol for secure transactions between merchants and AI agents.
