Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. has appointed Tucker Kelly as its new Chief Financial Officer to prepare for the commercialization of its lead candidate, azetukalner. Azetukalner is currently in Phase 3 programs for epilepsy, major depressive disorder, and bipolar depression. Kelly has over 25 years of experience in driving corporate and financial strategy for life sciences companies, most recently as CFO at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he also held CFO positions at AdvanDx, deCODE genetics, and Critical Therapeutics, as well as working as a life sciences investment banker and attorney.
