Data privacy and management are top concerns for Hong Kong respondents, with 26% highlighting these issues. 72% have implemented cybersecurity measures. The use of Managed Security Operations Centres and security measures to protect AI systems are emerging trends. Regular staff training on data protection is emphasized.
CPA Australia’s survey gathered feedback from 1,117 accounting and finance professionals, including 154 from Hong Kong. Many companies in Hong Kong are at the Proof-of-Concept stage with AI tools, focusing on productivity enhancement. Education is needed to fully unleash AI’s potential for business model reinvention and strategic goal alignment.
