Ascentage Pharma Group International Inc. announced that results from multiple clinical studies of its drug, olverembatinib, have been selected for presentations at the 67th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting. Olverembatinib is a third-generation BCR-ABL inhibitor being evaluated in multiple Phase III studies for various hematologic malignancies. The ASH Annual Meeting will take place on December 6-9, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, and will feature presentations on olverembatinib’s efficacy and safety data.

One major study abstract on olverembatinib selected for presentation at the ASH Annual Meeting is the results of POLARIS-1, a global Phase 3 study in patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The study showed a 64.2% minimal residual disease negative complete remission rate with a favorable safety profile. Another abstract highlighted the efficacy of olverembatinib in patients with tyrosine kinase inhibitor-resistant chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia, demonstrating a significantly longer event-free survival compared to the best available therapy.

Additionally, an update on the efficacy and safety of olverembatinib as second-line therapy in patients with chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia was presented, showing a 71.8% complete cytogenetic response rate and a 43.6% major molecular response rate. Olverembatinib was well tolerated with manageable adverse events. Ascentage Pharma is actively conducting global registrational Phase III trials for olverembatinib and other investigational drug candidates to bring new treatment options to patients.
