Aventis Energy Inc. has received exploration permits for the Corvo Uranium Project, allowing for high-resolution geophysical surveys and the first drill program in over 40 years. Outcrop grab samples showed uranium assays as high as 8.10% U3O8, prompting excitement for the upcoming drilling program in January 2026.
The Company contracted MWH Geo-Surveys to conduct a ground gravity survey covering over 29 kilometers of conductive strike length. The survey will aid in identifying density anomalies representing potential hydrothermal alteration systems coinciding with uranium fertile electromagnetic conductor trends, with more than 5,000 individual gravity measurement stations.
The 2025 exploration efforts included a helicopter-borne survey that outlined several kilometers of conductive anomalies and magnetic features in bedrock. Ongoing geophysical interpretation and modeling will provide high-priority drill targets for the upcoming drilling program, derisking the Project before modern drilling in 2026.
Aventis Energy believes the Corvo Uranium Project is highly prospective for discovering shallow, high-grade uranium mineralization. The Project, located near the Athabasca Basin, boasts shallow drill targets with minimal glacial till cover, similar to known deposits in the region like the Rabbit Lake deposit and the Gemini Mineralized Zone.
The Company is dedicated to developing strategic mineral exploration projects, including the Corvo Uranium Project and the Sting Copper Project. Historical drill results at Corvo showed intervals of uranium mineralization along an 800-meter strike length, with high-grade uranium at the Manhattan and SMDI showings. The Sting Copper Project recently reported high-grade copper intervals, indicating significant potential for the Company’s growth.
Forward-Looking Statements in the news release outline Aventis Energy’s plans for future exploration programs, mineral production, and capital markets profile. The Company emphasizes the importance of reliable assumptions, but acknowledges inherent uncertainties and risk factors that could affect actual results. The Company remains committed to advancing its projects and exploring the potential of the Corvo Uranium Project.
