Azimut Exploration Inc. completes its maiden diamond drilling program on the Rosa Zone at the Wabamisk Property in Québec. The program was expanded to 3,633 meters in 26 holes due to positive visual observations, with assay results pending. Visible gold was found in over 40% of the holes drilled, correlating with a 700-meter trend of gold-bearing outcrops.

The Rosa Zone, discovered this summer, is open in all directions and located 15 kilometers west of the Fortin antimony-gold zone on Wabamisk. Eleven of the 26 holes drilled show visible gold, with VG observed in specific depths in each hole. The down-hole VG occurrences suggest a 200-meter by 100-meter envelope.

Azimut’s Wabamisk Property consists of 673 claims covering 356 km2, strategically positioned in the James Bay region. The property is near key mining sites and infrastructure, with a 51-kilometer strike. The company also has promising projects in gold, copper, nickel, and lithium, including the Fortin Zone and Patwon gold deposit.

Nouchimi-RJLL Drilling Inc. conducted the drilling program at Wabamisk, with assays done by ALS Laboratories. The project is under the direction of Azimut’s Project Manager Alain Cayer. President and CEO Dr. Jean-Marc Lulin approved the technical information disclosed, acting as the qualified person.
