Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, purchased over $30 million in Circle (CRCL) shares on Wednesday. The firm now holds 3 million shares worth $255 million, despite a 20% drop in CRCL’s price over the past five trading days.
Circle’s shares tripled from the $31 IPO price on day one, hitting nearly $300. Despite beating Q3 revenue forecasts with $740 million, CRCL has dropped 37% in the last month.
Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest also recently bought $9 million in BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) shares amid a share price drop. Ark Invest also holds positions in Robinhood (HOOD), Coinbase (COIN), and operates a Bitcoin ETF.
Wood predicted Bitcoin to reach $1.5 million by 2030, but revised her target to $1.2 million due to stablecoin growth. Bitcoin is currently trading at $101,128, with a 62% chance of reaching $115,000 before falling to $85,000 according to Myriad Markets.
