Coinbase Business, a new platform from US crypto exchange Coinbase, has launched in Singapore, marking its first international expansion. The platform allows users to send and receive payments in USDC, manage crypto assets, and automate financial workflows. This launch is in cooperation with Standard Chartered for Singapore dollar transfers.

Coinbase Business’s launch in Singapore follows a collaboration with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which granted Coinbase a Major Payment Institution license in October 2023. This allows Coinbase to expand its digital payment token services to both individual and institutional clients in Singapore. The partnership aims to build regulated, compliant infrastructure for the next era of finance.
