Dart Mining and Great Divide Mining announce high-grade antimony gold drilling results at Coonambula project in Central Queensland, Australia. Initial results from former Banshee mine confirm high-grade antimony-gold resource, accelerating drilling across the Banshee trend. Dart Mining’s in-house rig is advancing drilling programme at Coonambula to establish JORC-compliant antimony-gold resource.
Under the JV agreement, Dart Mining may earn up to 51% interest in Coonambula project by completing specified drilling milestones. Dart Mining has acquired 15% interest by paying $250,000 to GDM and must complete 4,000m of drilling to reach ownership threshold. Dart Mining will manage the JV during the earn-in period.
Located 70km south-east of Cracow gold mine, the Coonambula project is 100% owned by GDM through its subsidiaries. Dart Mining chairman James Chirnside is pleased with high-grade antimony results at Coonambula, plans to continue drilling towards historical Banshee Mine for potential grade and thickness increase. Additional drilling results expected in the coming months.
