Cotton futures are trading lower, with contracts down 40 to 45 points midday. The online auction from The Seam on November 3 saw 5,296 bales sold at an average price of 62.44 cents/lb. ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 13,749 bales. The Cotlook A Index rose 40 points to 76.85 cents.
