Detectives note scammers’ verification steps are becoming more convincing. Australian authorities are cracking down on crypto crime, decoding a wallet with $5.9 million and targeting online scams involving cryptocurrency. Tasmania police found the top 15 crypto ATM users were scam victims, losing $1.6 million.
