Discovery Silver Corp. reported initial results from key exploration projects at the Porcupine Complex, including the Hoyle Pond, Borden Mine, and Pamour Mine. Results from 85 holes show high-grade intercepts, including 23.95 gpt over 7.1m. Additionally, drilling programs have commenced at Dome and Hoyle Pond TVZ Zone.
The Hoyle Pond Mine drilling program included 23 holes, targeting the S Zone. Results show high-grade mineralization and the potential for new lenses of mineralization. The program is continuing with a focus on drilling deeper and to the west side of the S Zone.
Drilling at the Borden Mine focused on resource conversion and expansion in the Main Zone. Results show positive intercepts, including 11.48 gpt over 5.2m. The program is ongoing to convert and extend resources.
At the Pamour Mine, drilling aimed to convert and extend inferred resources in the open-pit area. Results showed significant gold mineralization, including 1.44 gpt over 104.6m. Three drills are continuing to focus on different areas of the pit.
The Owl Creek Project saw drilling to test potential extensions of mineralization near the former open pit. Results indicate high-grade mineralization, including 4.08 gpt over 16.3m. The program is ongoing with a focus on surface and depth targets.
Drilling commenced at the Dome Mine Project, a significant historic gold producer in Canada. The program involves approximately 7,500 m of drilling to prepare for a new mineral resource estimate. One drill is active, focusing on areas for pit expansion.
At the TVZ Project, drilling began at the end of October to infill and expand gold mineralization zones. Initial results show positive intercepts, with a focus on preparing an initial NI 43-101 mineral resource. Drilling is ongoing from different levels to target extensions of the TVZ Zone.
