Market indexes started the trading week with the Nasdaq leading, up +0.46%, while the S&P 500 also saw gains of +0.17%. The Dow and Russell 2000, however, were down -0.48% and -0.49%, respectively. Manufacturing PMI split in October with S&P up to 52.5% and ISM down to 48.7%. Palantir and Clorox both beat earnings expectations, with Palantir up +3% and Clorox up +3.3% in late trading. Tomorrow’s stock market may lack economic data due to a government shutdown, but earnings reports from companies like Uber, Pfizer, and AMD are expected.
