Equifax has completed its acquisition of Vault Verify, a company that provides employment and income verification services. The deal will strengthen Equifax’s data supply to verifiers and give employers another way to share information for verification. The acquisition supports Equifax’s goal of helping people navigate key financial moments more easily, with the Equifax Cloud platform allowing for quick integration of Vault Verify. Vault Verify, specializing in API-based verification for U.S. employers, will now operate within Equifax’s Workforce Solutions unit. EFX closed at $204.86 on Monday, down 1.11%, with no change in after-hours trading.
