This advancement expands the potential applications of OptiMAL and enhances its market reach and revenue potential. The next phase involves testing the antibodies in cell-based assays to assess their therapeutic viability. Fusion Antibodies remains on track for a commercial launch of OptiMAL at the Antibody Engineering and Therapeutics conference in December 2025.

The results validate OptiMAL as a platform for isolating specific antibodies against proteins and peptides. The current agreement with the National Cancer Institute grants access to OptiMAL for discovering novel antibodies against selected targets. Negotiations are underway to extend the collaboration beyond the original expiration date in November 2025.
