Google has launched Gemini 3, its latest AI model, to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology. The model will enhance services like the Gemini app and AI Overviews for enterprise tools. CEO Sundar Pichai stated Gemini 3 is better at grasping context and intent, providing more accurate responses. Gemini app has 650 million monthly active users, while AI Overviews have 2 billion users monthly. CEO of Google DeepMind, Demis Hassabis, aims for “genuine insight” with Gemini 3. This model will power Google’s new “Antigravity” developer platform for easier code generation through “vibe coding.” Google claims Gemini 3 is its biggest rollout of AI capabilities.
