Renault Group has appointed Josep Maria Recasens as Chief Strategy, Product & Program Management Officer (SPPM) to simplify the organization and increase agility. Reporting to CEO François Provost, Recasens will define strategy, guide product choices, and coordinate implementation. Recasens, with a background in automotive industry, joined Renault Group in 2021 and has contributed to the Renaulution strategy. The Group aims for carbon neutrality in Europe by 2040 and sold 2.265 million vehicles in 2024.
