MainStreet Bancshares, Inc. has appointed Alex Vari as its new chief financial officer, succeeding Thomas Chmelik who will retire on December 31. Vari is currently the finance chief and Executive Vice President of MainStreet Bank. MNSB shares closed at $19.43 on Tuesday, up 3.35% on the Nasdaq. Chmelik will continue to serve as the Senior Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Bank and Company through December 31, 2027.
