A massive data breach at e-commerce giant Coupang exposes personal information of 33.7 million customers, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and delivery addresses. The breach, which started on June 24 and was discovered on November 18, did not compromise payment information or login credentials. Investigations are ongoing, with the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency involved. Concerns of potential further damage arise as past cases have shown initial denials overturned when sensitive data was confirmed compromised.
