Apparel sales rose by +5.7%, split between +6.1% online and +5.4% in-store, while jewelry sales increased by +2.75%. E-commerce retail sales surged by +10.4%, while in-store sales grew by +1.7%. Restaurants also saw a 4.5% increase in sales, with notable gains in New England, the Midwest, and the Southeast, where apparel sales were boosted by demand for cold-weather gear. Dining out has become a central part of holiday celebrations, reflecting consumers’ appetite for experiences alongside traditional shopping.
