Meta, Facebook’s parent company, is in talks with Google to use Google’s AI chips in its data centers starting in 2027. Google’s tensor processing units (TPUs) are seen as a cheaper alternative to Nvidia chips, with discussions aiming for 10% of Nvidia’s revenue. Meta plans to invest $600 billion in U.S. infrastructure, including AI data centers.
